About the Role:

John McDonald Painting Corp is looking for a talented and motivated Painter or Apprentice to join our crew in Agoura Hills, CA! Whether you're an experienced painter or just starting your career in the trades, this is a great opportunity to do quality work and grow your skills with a professional team.

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, and priming
• Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheeting
• Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and finishes
• Perform touch-ups and finish work to ensure clean, professional results
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and job sites
• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE on all job sites

• Apprentice-level candidates willing to learn the trade.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and at various heights
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Knowledge of surface prep, paint application techniques, and finishing
