Job description
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization.
- Handle employee’s visa renewal, new joiners visa issuance and separated employee’s visa cancellation.
- Ensure all local authority company’s licenses are renewed on time.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient processes.
- Implement best practices and standard operating procedures for administrative tasks.
- Lead efforts to maintain and improve office facilities, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and functional environment.
- Ensure high quality of services provided to all Kuwait Steel employees including but not limited to Catering, Cleaning, Clinic, gardening, accommodation, and transportation services.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for facility maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Assist in budget planning and allocation for administrative and general service functions.
- Monitor expenses, review financial reports, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate invoicing and financial compliance.
- Analyse existing processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce operational bottlenecks.
- Implement changes and monitor their effectiveness.
- Oversee and manage special projects related to administrative and general service functions.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, track progress, and ensure timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Implement and enforce health and safety measures within the organization.
- Collect and analyse data to generate reports and insights for management decision‑making.
- Provide regular updates and reports on administrative and general service activities.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in administrative and general service roles.
