Library Assistant

We are seeking a Library Assistant to join our team at our library in Al Ahmadi As a Library Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in managing the librarys collection and providing excellent customer service to our patrons

• Assist the Librarian with organizing and maintaining the librarys collection of books magazines and other materials
• Help with cataloging new items and ensuring that all materials are properly labeled and shelved
• Assist patrons with finding books and other materials as well as answering general inquiries about the library
• Process book checkouts and returns collect fines and maintain accurate records of library transactions
• Maintain a clean and organized library space for patrons to use
• Assist with planning and executing library events and programs such as book clubs or storytime for children
• Help promote the librarys services and resources to increase patron usage
• Stay up-to-date on new books and other materials that may be of interest to patrons

• Must be an Indian national currently residing in Al Ahmadi
• No previous experience or English proficiency is required for this position
• Must be able to work without accommodation provided by the company
• This position is open to both men and women

The salary for this position is 1200$ with potential for growth within our organization
