Overview

We are seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to support Supply Chain and Operations Planning activities. The role is responsible for developing reliable demand forecasts, improving inventory visibility, supporting production planning, and providing data-driven insights to ensure efficient operational decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical consumption, operational requirements, inventory trends, and business inputs.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Inventory, and Finance teams to validate planning assumptions and business requirements.
  • Monitor demand patterns, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and supply risks, providing timely recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Support production planning through analysis of demand, inventory availability, material requirements, and capacity constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain planning reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management summaries to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Identify and escalate risks related to stock availability, excess inventory, forecast variances, and demand-supply imbalances.
  • Support inventory optimization through replenishment planning, safety stock monitoring, and inventory visibility.
  • Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and coordinate cross-functional planning activities.
  • Analyze historical data, consumption trends, production performance, and planning variances to drive continuous improvement.
  • Maintain planning documentation, reporting tools, and standard operating procedures to ensure process consistency and business continuity.
  • Support digitalization and automation initiatives to improve planning efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance planning governance, operational performance, and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, inventory planning, production planning, or operations planning.
  • Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and planning reports.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
    Power BI or ERP/MRP system experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder coordination, attention to detail, and follow-up discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, oilfield services, or industrial operations is preferred.
