As a Contract English-Speaking Librarian in Al Ahmadi, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of materials, assisting patrons with research and reference requests, and organizing library programs and events. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a librarian and fluent English language skills. This is a contract position without accommodation, so the candidate must have a valid biometric passport to work in Kuwait.

• Manage the library's collection of materials, including cataloguing new items and maintaining the organization of existing materials
• Assist patrons with research and reference requests, providing guidance on how to use library resources effectively
• Plan and organize library programs and events, such as book clubs, author talks, and workshops
• Keep up-to-date with current trends in literature and technology to continuously improve the library's offerings
• Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services and resources for patrons
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions and prepare reports as needed
• Train and supervise support staff or volunteers as necessary

• Indian nationality preferred due to language requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Fluent English language skills (spoken and written)
• Previous experience working as a librarian preferred
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid biometric passport for employment in Kuwait

Salary: 1600$ per month (or equivalent currency)
