A leading company in Kuwait is looking for a Heavy equipment electrician with technical expertise in automotive, mechanical, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment electrical systems is required.
Job Description- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, cranes, generators, and oilfield machinery.
- Troubleshoot wiring systems, control modules (ECMs), sensors, and CAN bus systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Install, repair, and calibrate electrical components and systems.
- Work on battery systems, alternators, starters, lighting, and control panels.
- Support engine diagnostics related to electronic control systems.
- Supervise and mentor junior electricians and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards in oilfield operations.
- Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs.
- Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Electrical Systems.
- OEM certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu) are an advantage.
- HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA preferred.
