Heavy equipment electrician technical expertise automotive

A leading company in Kuwait is looking for a Heavy equipment electrician with technical expertise in automotive, mechanical, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment electrical systems is required.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, cranes, generators, and oilfield machinery.
• Troubleshoot wiring systems, control modules (ECMs), sensors, and CAN bus systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Install, repair, and calibrate electrical components and systems.
• Work on battery systems, alternators, starters, lighting, and control panels.
• Support engine diagnostics related to electronic control systems.
• Supervise and mentor junior electricians and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards in oilfield operations.
• Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs.

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Electrical Engineering or Heavy Equipment Electrical Systems.
• OEM certifications (e.g., Caterpillar, Komatsu) are an advantage.
• HSE certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA preferred.
