AC Technician

This is a full-time, on-site AC Technician position based in Ahmadi, Kuwait. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC systems installed on various equipment and facilities.

The AC Technician will directly report to the Electrical Foreman and shall execute all assigned tasks in accordance with company procedures, safety regulations, and foreman instructions.

• Install, remove, inspect, maintain, and repair AC and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Inspect and repair AC system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, electrical controls, sensors, and refrigerant circuits.
• Carry out electrical troubleshooting related to HVAC systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
• Execute all tasks as instructed by the Electrical Foreman without fail.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a high level of professionalism.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an AC/HVAC Technician or in a related role.
• Strong experience in AC systems, including installation, removal, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of AC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, refrigerants, and control systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components is highly desirable.
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults related to HVAC equipment.
• Technical diploma or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of refrigerant handling and applicable safety regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and electrical schematics.
• Experience working with heavy equipment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with different types of cranes, including:
  • All Terrain (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Terrain Cranes (RT)
• Experience working on crane-mounted AC systems is considered an added advantage.
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
