Skilled Carpenter in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in the construction industry to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1800$, without accommodation provided.

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure or fixture to be constructed
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power tools
• Assemble cut and shaped materials according to specifications using glue, nails, screws or staples
• Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings and trim using carpentry tools
• Repair or replace damaged woodwork using hand tools or power tools
• Follow all safety procedures while working on job sites

• Proven experience as a Carpenter in the construction industry
• Knowledge of woodworking machines and tools including hand saws, drills and sanders
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawing specifications
• Attention to detail with good measurement skills
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor for extended periods
• Excellent time management skills
• Good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
