Electrician/ Electrician Installation, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for performing routine and emergency maintenance on our electrical systems and equipment to ensure they are running efficiently and safely. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$. As we are an English-speaking company, proficiency in English is required.
This job does not require previous experience and is open to Canadian applicants.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment including wiring, lighting, motors, and control systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Inspect and test electrical components to identify potential hazards
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Respond to emergency calls for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed
- Keep up-to-date with industry standards and safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electrical trade certification or relevant diploma/degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or construction work
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or on-call as needed
