Welder Technician

We are hiring a skilled Welder Technician to join our team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Welder Technician, you will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain equipment and structures. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and expertise in welding techniques and equipment.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and materials required for each project
• Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders to fabricate or repair metal parts
• Prepare surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, or cutting as needed
• Monitor welding process to ensure quality standards are met
• Inspect completed welds for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety regulations and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of different types of welding techniques including MIG, TIG, stick welding
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with various types of metals, alloys, and their properties
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary for this position starts at 1500$ per month.
