Area Business Manager
Business Vertical: Construction Equipment - Chinese Machines
Region :
Gujarat
Role Purpose
To drive profitable growth of machines across Gujarat by strengthening market
presence, improving dealer productivity, enhancing customer relationships, and ensuring
seamless coordination between Sales, Service, and Parts.
The role is responsible for achieving volume, revenue, market share, and collection targets
while building a sustainable regional business.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Revenue Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Drive machine penetration in infrastructure, road construction, quarry, and industrial
segments.
Develop territory-wise sales strategy aligned with annual operating plan.
Improve conversion ratio and pipeline visibility.
Market Expansion – Gujarat Focus
Identify growth clusters across Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, etc.).
Increase market share against key competitors in the construction equipment
industry.
Monitor pricing trends, schemes, and tender movements.
Develop contractor engagement plans and key account mapping.
Dealer & Channel Management
Strengthen and monitor dealer network performance.
Ensure optimal inventory planning and faster order processing.
Conduct monthly business reviews with dealers.
Ensure policy compliance, commercial discipline, and process adherence.
Financial & Commercial Discipline
Monitor receivables and ensure collection within credit norms.
Control regional discounting and scheme implementation.
Improve profitability per machine sold.
Maintain healthy order booking vs billing ratio.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead Regional Sales Managers and Sales Engineers.
Conduct structured reviews (weekly pipeline, monthly performance).
Drive sales capability development and product knowledge enhancement.
Build a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values.
Customer Experience & After-Sales Coordination
Coordinate with Service & Parts teams to ensure machine uptime.
Monitor warranty claims, customer complaints, and resolution timelines.
Promote AMC and parts business to enhance lifecycle revenue.
Strengthen long-term customer relationships.
