MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented mid-level Maritime Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Oahu, HI. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Drafts and develops Maritime Risk Assessment Plans and safety documentation for senior review and validation
• Maintains detailed records of vessel safety certifications and facilitates communication between the prime contractor and insurance partners
• Prepares routine reports on maritime risk metrics and safety performance for Mission Partners
• Develops and maintains standard operating procedures for managing maritime pollution prevention and safety compliance
• Facilitates the coordination of vessel inspections and ensure all maritime platforms are seaworthy and properly manned
• Prepares risk status updates for inclusion in the unclassified document library and management portal
• Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Safety, Business, or a related field
• 3+ years of position-relevant experience
• Proficiency in maritime safety regulations and USCG standards

Desired

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related field
• 7+ years of position-relevant experience
• Experience with international standards for vessel berthing and husbanding

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Must possess active Public Trust clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual communication which may involve delivering presentations
