Webling Elementary: Grade K-6 Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, adaptable, and student-centered educator to join our elementary team. The ideal candidate is a lifelong learner dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment where every child feels seen, heard, and challenged.

• Instructional Leadership:
  Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) using differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Classroom Culture:
  Establish a positive, productive classroom climate through consistent routines, and social-emotional learning (SEL) integration.
• Assessment & Data:
  Utilize formative and summative assessments to track student progress, inform small-group instruction, and communicate growth to stakeholders.
• Collaboration:
  
  Participate in Grade Level Teams (GLTs) and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze data, share best practices, and align curriculum.
• Communication:
  Maintain proactive and professional partnerships with families through conferences, newsletters, and digital platforms.
• Pedagogy:
  Strong understanding of the Science of Reading, inquiry-based math, and RTI/MTSS frameworks.

• Minimum qualification:
  
  Bachelor's Degree.
• Must have a valid Hawaii teaching license or Emergency Hire Permit upon hire. If not licensed, must obtain a license within 3 years and enroll in a Teacher Education Program. Must actively pursue licensing requirements annually as per Hawaii Teacher Standards Board policies.
