Engineering Program Administrator - Dlnr, Oahu

This position is located in Downtown, Oahu, and offers a salary range of $10,578 to $16,933 per month (EM-08, Minimum to Maximum). The hiring rate will be based on funds availability, qualifications, and other factors.

Responsibilities include: providing strategic leadership for the Engineering Division, managing programs and functions, overseeing financial operations including budgeting and legislative engagement, personnel management, and serving as an advisor to the Chairperson and Board of Land and Natural Resources.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid Hawaii Professional Engineer license, meet educational requirements (such as graduation from an accredited engineering college or equivalent experience), and have at least four years of professional engineering experience, including two years in supervisory or advisory roles, and one year in program management including budgeting and policy development. A valid Hawaii driver’s license (Type 3 or higher) is also required.
