Defense System Specialist

You will serve as a DEFENSE TRAVEL SYSTEM SPECIALIST in the Headquarters and service Battalion (HQSVCBN), U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC) of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

• Specialize experience must demonstrate the following:
• Instituting traveler training
• Establishing Defense Travel System organizational hierarchy
• Coordinating with Tier II help desk
• Accepting travelers into organization
• practical knowledge of Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Defense Travel System (DTS), and Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) programs
• High level of inter personal skills
• Knowledge and skill in researching policy issues
• Possessing basic written and oral communication skills
• Resourceful solving unique problems associated with DTS techniques
• Resolving complex issues
• Planning and carrying out assignments
