Overview
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center.
Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Orthopedics Department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults.
RoleIf you are detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills, you form part of the team that is responsible for the day-to-day operation and efficiency of the Orthopedics clinic. As the Business Office Assistant, you will support the general operations, including functions related to patient scheduling, registration, charge capture and data entry. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere and shares our commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum QualificationsHigh School or equivalent. One (1) year general clerical or secretarial experience in position with customer contact.
Preferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Business, Medical technology or related field. Medical Terminology course. One (1) year experience in a physician’s office or outpatient clinic setting. Experience with compilation and interpretation of statistics. Experience in Mammography setting. Experience in data base management.
