IT Specialist Sr with Security Clearance

Description:
IT Specialist Sr performs advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting to maintain optimum IT system operations. Designs and oversees upgrades and new installs of IT systems and services, coordinating with Cyber Security Specialist. Performs Tier III upgrades of networking systems, IT systems, and storage networking. Performs Tier III troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management of IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
Integrates enterprise, regional, and local IT systems to ensure current network operations are sustained and oversees their recovery.
Location:
Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
An active Secret clearance is required for eligibility for this position.
Required Skills
- Years of experience: 10+ years
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree - Certifications:
- IAT Level III
- Willing to acquire one of the following certifications within 6 months of start:
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) (Routing and Switching)
- Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
- Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)
Required Experience
- Ten plus (10+) years of IT experience configuring the following protocols:
- Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6)
- Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs)
- Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP)
- Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
- Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)
- Network Address Translation (NAT)
