Job Title
Data Engineer—Junior
Location & Start DateCamp Smith, Hawaii, USA – Anticipated start date: late May 2026.
Job DescriptionSupport future Defense & Intelligence Programs for SOCPAC at Camp Smith. You will develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate, clean, and validate data from structured and unstructured sources, and contribute to data modeling, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain basic ETL/ELT pipelines to support mission‑critical analytics.
- Assist in integrating, cleaning, and validating data from structured and unstructured sources.
- Contribute to data modeling, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- Basic familiarity with Windows or Linux commands.
- Foundational experience with Python.
- Foundational experience with SQL.
- Experience with Git (Git Hub and/or Git Lab).
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with databases such as Postgres or Elastic.
- Current DoW TS/SCI clearance.
- 0–3 years of related experience (internship or academic project experience accepted).
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred cloud foundational certifications.
- On‑site, 5 days a week.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Competitive salary range: $119,000 – $161,000 (based on experience and location).
