Seasonal Sales Associate

Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate position. The role involves providing excellent customer service, sharing fandom knowledge, restocking merchandise, and maintaining an appealing store layout.

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that will encourage customers to return, using product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure that assigned areas are up to visual standards.
• Work the register, process sales transactions, and drive add‑on sales using additional benefits such as BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Assist with planogram changes, including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Communicate fashion and music trend information to management and relevant HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to ensure proper handling of merchandise and prevent misuse or theft.
• Support the maintenance of store areas, helping keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively as part of a team.
• Perform any other activities assigned by the Store Leader.

• Previous experience working in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise product using approved equipment, and pack/unpack merchandise that may weigh up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $14 - $15.40 an hour.
