Position: Security Officer - Evening Patrol Driver in Aiea, HI
, offering part-time opportunities at a busy retail/mall location. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail property.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or property concerns.
• Monitor access points and respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with property management and local responders as needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate notable updates to site leadership and incoming officers.
• Help maintain orderly conditions by providing direction, de-escalating disturbances when possible, and supporting retail loss prevention and crowd management during peak traffic and special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
