General Laborer – Equipment Yard

Location: Maui, Hawaii

Alpha Inc. is seeking a reliable, team-oriented General Laborer – Equipment Yard to help keep our base yard operations organized, safe, and efficient. This hands‑on role supports the movement and management of equipment, tools, and materials—key components of our daily operations in heavy civil construction and renewable energy projects across Hawaii.

As a core part of the Equipment Department, you’ll help maintain an orderly yard, assist with loading/unloading, and perform essential maintenance support. Support Yard Operations

• Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment.
• Organize and inspect equipment to ensure it’s ready for deployment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient yard environment.

Execute Labor & Transport Tasks

• Operate shovels, rakes, and power tools to keep the yard functional.
• Transport equipment and materials to job sites or vendors as needed.
• Support digging, lifting, and other labor‑intensive tasks under supervision.

Ensure Safety & Maintenance

• Follow all Alpha Inc. safety protocols and participate in safety meetings.
• Assist in minor repairs and basic upkeep of yard equipment.
• Maintain hazard‑free zones through routine inspections and cleanup.

• Valid Class 4 Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Forklift Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Comfort working outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Safety‑first mindset with strong attention to detail.
