Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Occasional travel to neighboring islands.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, sit, twist, use hands, reach, push, pull, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
• Use vision abilities – close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
• Work in unusual or difficult positions such as ladders, scaffolding, high‑lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, or above ceilings.
• Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine tests and inspections of fire alarm systems, fire safety systems, fire sprinkler systems, and other fire safety product lines.
• Document deficiencies and prepare accurate, timely work reports.
• Prepare inspection/deficiency reports for submission to management.
• Coordinate with service management to schedule and handle work.
• Interface with customers to explain work performed, answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and organize truck inventory of parts and tools.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Pass a required drug test.

Qualifications:

• Experience inspecting fire alarm products and wet or dry fire sprinkler systems, or related industry experience.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers.
• Familiarity with fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, policies, and procedures.
• Must obtain NICET Level I Certification in Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems and NICET Level I Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water‑Based Systems within one (1) year.
• Must obtain and retain any licenses and certifications required by state and/or local codes.
• Must be able to legally rent a car and drive a motor vehicle for extended periods.
• Must be able to work a full‑time, flexible schedule with on‑call availability and travel on short notice.
• Must have a strong work ethic, be detail‑oriented, and adhere to safety policies.

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour.
