Accounting Clerk

Overview

Shaw Industries plant 78 in Aiken, SC is searching for an Accounting Clerk to manage General Administration and control financial records.

• Total all expense forms. Use account number assigned to each voucher and split to Plant accordingly.
• Receive match exceptions as requested
• Reconcile PCard Transactions each Month
• Purchase all postage and mail any mail each day
• Order Supplies as needed for each department
• Order Rental Cars and Hotel reservations as needed for travel.
• Order associates meals as requested.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Work normally scheduled days adhering to starting and stopping times. Work overtime as required.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
• Communicate any problem or concerns to the supervisor in a timely fashion.

• Must possess good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
• HS Diploma, GED Required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel or related computer skills
• Preferred:
  Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Preferred: experience in a manufacturing accounting clerical role

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
