Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Entry‑Level Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin building a strong foundation in corporate finance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn how business operations translate into financial results.

Reports to: Director of Accounting

Location: Onsite

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the month‑end and year‑end close processes
  • Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform account reconciliations, including prepaid, accrual, and balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and maintain proper documentation
  • Follow established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Assist with variance analysis and research discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records and supporting schedules for audit readiness
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business transactions and their accounting impact
  • Provide support for external audits and internal reviews
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives within the accounting department
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply; no prior work experience required
  • Internship or academic experience using Microsoft Excel preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
