Pro Sidian Seeks a Project Support Specialist
- Administrative/Business (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.
This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and Pro Sidian Team Members (# FTe's:
1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 01613) to fulfil T&M
- Time and Materials (T&M) requirements.
Provide project support to the Project Integration Organization, including Project Controls, Estimating, Integration and Interface, Project Management Office, and Funds Control Groups' management and personnel.
Project Support Specialist
- Administrative/Business Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services
- Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and
1. Prepare Metrics, Documents, Deliverable/Presentation Packages, including charts and tables (paper and electronic files). Identify and track Action items.
2. Maintain electronic calendars for multiple Managers and complete travel reimbursement forms.
3. Coordinate Departmental Training, Safety Meeting attendance, and Communications.
4. Coordinate office equipment maintenance including maintaining the inventory of office supplies.
5. Departmental contact for computer hardware/software support, computer supplies and troubleshooting.
6. Perform maintenance duties for the site Liquid Waste Operations Document Library.
7. Reference/support document research and data compilation.

QualificationsThe Project Support Specialist
- Administrative/Business shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.
The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
Requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the General Project Support Specialists working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy) Associate Degree in Business, Communications or English, or a related area, with 7 years related experience in project / technical support or document /configuration control / office management.
At least two (2) years experience in the use of various software programs, such as:
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Deltek Time and Expense, Filemaker Pro. Experience with governmental agencies Orders, Policies, Standards and Guidelines is desired. Recent SRS experience (within last two years) is required.

TRAVEL:
Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, as allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
