Onboarding Specialist

Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6+ months

Hourly Rate: $17‑$19/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the financial services industry and a willingness to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven environment. Attention to detail is paramount, and strong customer service and communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with advisors professionally via phone and email, ensuring responsiveness and providing status updates on processes.
  • Manage and process materials by organizing spreadsheets, files, and internal systems to track items such as designation verification, education credentials, and award documentation.
  • Conduct daily and real‑time reporting of activities using Smartsheet, Excel, Salesforce, and other internal systems.
  • Provide administrative support as required.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience in the financial services industry with an understanding of brokerage and advisory services.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet and Excel; ability to consolidate information from multiple sources.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated client interaction and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capacity to work independently while seeking assistance when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility to learn quickly and adapt to changing tasks.
