Enrollment Services Specialist
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Services, the Enrollment Services Specialist is responsible for providing exemplary services for prospective, new, and current students seeking assistance with application to the College, access to financial aid, advisement, enrollment, and continuing education course registration. The Enrollment Services Specialist supports the College's academic mission by maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and security of applicant files. The Enrollment Services Specialist also utilizes resources to deliver a high-quality student experience for those inquiring by phone, online, and in-person about College programs and services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greets and assists applicants, students, parents, faculty, staff, and visitors in the Enrollment Services Center. Responds in a timely and accurate manner to questions regarding the status of applications, enrollment process, continuing education courses, general College services, and other enrollment services and information. Reviews and scans/links incoming documents, completes continuing education registrations, and supports outgoing communications.
- Enters and updates applicant and student data in the student information system and the College's document imaging system. Verifies import of assigned admissions applications into the student information system, investigates and resolves any data inconsistencies.
- Coordinates assigned applicant and incoming student caseload. Processes assigned enrollment related forms.
- Responsible for answering incoming telephone calls for the College. Responds in a timely and accurate manner to questions regarding the status of applications, enrollment process, continuing education courses, general College services, and other enrollment services and information.
- Reviews and answers the Admissions email as assigned. Checks and responds to emails in the Enrollment Services Center mailbox as assigned.
- Cultivates and maintains a positive working relationship with all Student Affairs colleagues as well as faculty and staff across campus. Participates as needed in admissions fairs, recruitment events, and other enrollment services activities. Participates in College committees and professional development activities as directed. Provides coverage as directed to ensure that the operations of the Enrollment Services Center are in alignment with the mission and goals of the College.
Assists the Director of Enrollment Services with other duties as assigned in support of the mission and goals of the Enrollment Services Center and the College.
Minimum and
Additional Requirements:
High School diploma required.
Preferred Qualifications:
An Associate's degree and one (1) year of related administrative office experience preferred.
