Industrial Hygiene Technician
The purpose of the position is to provide field support for the Industrial Hygiene Program, ensuring Federal, State, Company, and Site requirements regarding exposure to potential physical and chemical hazards to facility personnel. Functions including but not limited to:
- Perform field industrial hygiene evaluations (e.g., heat strain, chemicals);
- Perform worker exposure assessments for chemical and physical hazards;
- Prepare technical reports; and
- Communicate issues and results with employees and management in a professional manner.
Liquid Waste shall review the Subcontractor personnel resumes. May be required to drive government vehicles. Will be required to pass testing for Radiological Worker II and maintain IH equipment qualifications.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- All candidates shall have 3+ years' experience providing industrial hygiene / technician experience, or 5+ years experience troubleshooting or repamng mechanical equipment or electronics. Candidate shall have operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint). High school diploma or equivalent required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
