Long Term (1 Year Contract with two 1-Year Extension options)
Job Description- Provide 2D-Microstation and 3D-S3D Electrical Designer staff augmentation support to SRNS. Primary responsibilities include engineering analysis; 2D drawing development utilizing Micro Station and 3D Modeling using Hexagon’s S3D software; design development, and generation of design output documents.
- Prepare, review, and approve design change forms, disposition nonconformance reports, review vendor documents and incorporate into 2D drawings and 3D models, and resolve construction issues.
RequirementsEducation & Experience: An associates degree in a technical discipline and at least 10 - 12 years work experience or 12 - 16 years of practical work experience.
Must demonstrate 10 years work experience as an Electrical Designer, including experience with Equipment Layout, Grounding, Raceway Layout, Lighting Systems, and Schematics, Connection and Wiring Diagrams.
Significant experience using 2D-Microstation and Hexagon’s S3D software
Must demonstrate working knowledge of National Census Codes and Standards for electrical design such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA
PreferredPossession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred.
Professional Hourly Rate: $62-$75/hour

Rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and benefits + travel expenses selected

401k: 4% point-for-point contribution match after six months of employment
Expense Reimbursement: Expense reimbursement is available for out-of-town candidates. Expenses are reimbursed per U.S. GSA FY 2026 per diem rates for Aiken/Greenville, South Carolina ($178/day)
