Overview
Hukari Ascendent is a Women-Owned, Small Business specializing in comprehensive engineering and technical support services associated with commercial nuclear power and other Department of Energy (DOE) nuclear activities.
Duration: 12 months or more with possible extension(s)
Responsibilities- Consult on Aqueous Recovery flowsheet and best practices for safe implementation in facilities such as HB-Line.
- Consult on Pyrochemical flow sheets and best practices for safe implementation in facilities.
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in separation theory, chloride salt byproduct and offgas treatments, and plutonium processing.
- PhD degree and about 15 years experience, MS degree and 17 years experience, BS degree and about 21 years experience.
- Experience in Research and Development focused on Actinide Separations required.
- Demonstrated implementation support of plutonium processing flow sheets required.
- Demonstrated development of novel processing techniques for plutonium and/or uranium preferred.
- Experience interfacing with operating facility personnel during deployment of plutonium flow sheets preferred.
