Job Description
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver manufacturing projects in a dynamic industrial environment. In this role, you will drive capital projects, process improvements, and new product introductions and transitions while ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and operational goals. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams across U.S. and Mexico sites to deliver consistent, efficient, and high‑impact results.
Responsibilities- Lead end‑to‑end execution of manufacturing projects, including equipment installations, process improvements, and new product introductions and transitions
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Ensure alignment with plant operations, safety, and production schedules
- Apply continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) to drive efficiency and reduce waste
- Use data to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- Track and communicate project performance across cost, quality, delivery, and safety metrics
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams
- Coordinate activities across multiple manufacturing sites in the U.S. and Mexico
- Identify and mitigate project risks impacting safety, quality, and production
- Manage project budgets, including capital expenditures and ROI tracking
- Provide clear updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience managing projects in a manufacturing or plant environment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, or automation
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet)
- Strong data analysis skills (Excel or similar tools)
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams
- Ability to travel up to 25–40% between Aiken, Mexicali, and Saltillo
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
- PMP certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Experience managing capital projects or new product introductions
