The TRG Manufacturing Search Division seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a rapidly growing manufacturer serving the power utility industry. Come help build the infrastructure behind the AI revolution. This company is experiencing significant growth driven by electrification, grid expansion, and data center demand, growing sales by more than 40% last year. Their engineered cooling solutions help utilities and transformer manufacturers deliver the reliable power needed to support the next generation of AI, data centers, and critical infrastructure.
This role is heavily focused on product design, product development, and custom engineered solutions. You will lead new product development initiatives, design custom systems, and drive product enhancements from concept through production. Utilizing Solid Works, you will create complex 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings while working closely with operations and fabrication teams to ensure high-quality, manufacturable designs.
You will leverage your design experience with fabricated products, welded assemblies, or custom industrial equipment to help develop the next generation of engineered solutions. Background- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency with Solid Works and 3D modeling
- Experience designing fabricated metal products and welded assemblies
- Product development experience in a manufacturing environment
- Background with custom-engineered equipment or industrial systems
