Pro Sidian Seeks a 2D Electrical Designer
- Engineering (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and Pro Sidian Team Members (# FTe's:
1) work as part of an Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 30061) to fulfil T&M
- Time and Materials (T&M) requirements.

The 2D Electrical Designer DS 100 as a Professional Grade position.

2D Electrical Designer
- Engineering Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services
- Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

Provide 2D Designer support services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Designer support services include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas:

• Electrical
• Equipment layout
• Grounding
• Cable tray
• Conduit
• Lighting systems
• Schematics and wiring diagrams
• Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for electrical design such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA
• Plant Design
• Mechanical systems including piping, material handling, equipment and HVAC components
• Equipment layout, piping layout and HVAC layout based on upper tier documents
• Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for plant design such as ASME B31.3, NFPA 101, ASME N509/510 and B16

The 2D Electrical Designer
- Engineering shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.

The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

requisite work experience and technical skills to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of the 2d Designers working and performing tasks in the Energy Industry (Oil and Gas / Power and Utilities / Nuclear Energy) High School Degree is required. Formal training beyond High School in Computer Aided Design or Drafting is preferred. A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of 2d Design. Basic two-dimensional design forms the foundation of graphic design and visual communication.

By applying basic mark-making. or drawing concepts such as lines and shapes to an understanding. of how to define and make use of the picture plane and apply. A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. Work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. Over Time (OT) may be required as necessary. Standard Facilities Access required and a security clearance may be required for this position
