It encompasses parts of Aiken, Barnwell and Allendale counties and is bordered on the west by the Savannah River and Georgia.

SRS is close to several cities, including Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina. It is also within a few hours of Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville and Charlotte.

Services anticipated includes storage, integration, treatment and disposition of the liquid radioactive waste being managed at the Savannah River Site (DOE).

This professional works as part of a Staff Augmentation Support Service Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) on behalf of The Savannah River Remediation (SRR), the Liquid Waste (LW) Contractor located at the Department of Energy Savannah River Site.

The Mechanical / Chemical Engineer
- Engineering shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
