Pro Sidian Seeks a Emergency Preparedness SME Support
- Procedure / Training (Time and Materials | Non-Exempt) to support an engagement for a liquid waste contractor (Savannah River Remediation [SRR]) at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC, which is owned by the U.S. Department of Energy.

This service supports Environmental Management Sector Clients and Pro Sidian Team Members (# FTe's:
1) work as part of a Engagement Team Cadre (Labor Category 30085) to fulfil T&M
- Time and Materials (T&M) requirements.

The Emergency Preparedness SME Support TR 102 as a Professional Grade position.

Emergency Preparedness SME Support
- Procedure / Training Candidates shall work to support requirements for Technical General Support Services (GSSC) related to NAICS: 541690 - Environmental Consulting Services, NAICS: 541690 - Scientific and Technical Consulting Services
- Energy, and NAICS: 591690 - Professional Scientific Technical Consulting Services and

Provide subject matter expert (SME) services in support of the Savannah River Remediation (SRR) Emergency Preparedness (EP) Program.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop Emergency Preparedness Drill Scenarios following DOE orders and guidance.
  • Support the EP and Training Administration in performance of new drill scenario development, scenario revision and internal assessments of the SRS and SRR EP Programs.
  • Plan, perform, and document assessments under the direction of Manager, Emergency Preparedness and Training Administration, and as directed by competent SRR personnel.
  • Assist with corrective action(s) implementation, if needed.

Qualifications

The Emergency Preparedness SME Support
- Procedure / Training shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. All employees, in the performance of their respective responsibilities, shall conduct themselves in the highest possible standards of ethical and business conduct.

The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.

Candidates need demonstrated knowledge of nuclear facility operations and familiarity with EP functional areas such as drills and assessments.

Candidates need demonstrated knowledge and experience in design and development of EP Drill Scenarios. Candidates shall have a BS or BA degree or as a minimum an accredited High School diploma plus 7 to 10 years' experience in emergency management or a related discipline. Experience to plan, perform, and document internal assessments

Interpersonal skills so as to establish and cultivate positive working relationships and interfaces with both internal and external customers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word/Excel/Power Point

Demonstrated experience developing/coordinating training schedules a plus A 40 hour work week schedule as anticipated for this position. Position will be on 4/10 schedule (10 hours/day; four days per week), work week excludes SRR holidays. Each work day has a 30-minute lunch. A security clearance is not initially required; however, candidate must be capable of obtaining an L or Q clearance if required to perform assigned duties.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
