I & C Engineer- R SRS- Aiken, SC

Provide support engineering services to assigned SRR Engineering Teams. Engineering support services include engineering analysis, walk downs, design development and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: P&IDs;
Control Logics;
Loop Diagrams;
Instrument Indices;
Setpoint Lists;
Instrument and Control Valve Specifications; DCS and PLC Design;
Instrument Location and Installation Design;
Panel Layouts; and Vendor Document Review.

• Travel off site to interface with vendors, fabricators and other engineering organizations as required.
• Provide engineering services using SRR processes and procedures.
• Receive programmatic guidance from SRR.

A 40-hour work week is scheduled. SRNS utilizes various work schedules including 5/8s (8 hour/day; five days per week), 4/10’s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80’s (9 hours/day, five days on week AA and four days on week BB). Work week excludes SRNS holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch. Overtime will be expected at times to meet deliverables and will be utilized at the discretion of the Manager.

• Education: BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, I&C Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in one of the above disciplines.
• Experience: 5 years of design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry, design experience with PLCs and distributed control systems, and the ability to walk down systems in the field.
• Area Security Access: Clearance not required.

• Experience in 2D Micro Station Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD).
