E2 Federal Services, LLC is seeking a professional for a position that requires technical expertise and leadership in complex problem-solving.
ResponsibilitiesThe role involves incorporating advanced technical practices and complex features into problem-solving and program planning.
Key responsibilities include:

- Providing leadership in determining solutions to complex problems.
- Developing solutions to complex technical problems.
- Keeping informed on technical needs within the company and technical trends in the external world.
- Leading task teams for developing solutions to more complex problems.
- Developing schedules, monitoring progress, monitoring expenditures of budget, and reviewing quality of work performed.
- Communicating results and objectives to customers, colleagues, managers, and oversight groups.
- Preparing reports for external publication.
- Contributing to advancing knowledge in the field of expertise.
- Solving complex problems in the field.
- Providing design engineering staff augmentation support to SRNS.
- Primary responsibilities include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents.
- Engineering services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures.
The position requires:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Q Clearance is required.
- An advanced degree and experience, a Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience.
- MS degree and 12 years' experience.
- BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience. BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 15 years' design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience working at one or more DOE facilities.
- Candidate must demonstrate experience creating and revising documentation in one or more of the following areas:
Process Flow;
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams;
System Descriptions;
Mechanical Equipment Lists;
Mechanical Equipment Sizing;
Pipe and Valve Specifications;
Failure Analysis;
Accident Analysis;
Finite Element Analysis; ASME Code Design and Evaluation;
Pipe Stress Analysis;
Material Handling Design;
Fire Protection Design; HVAC Design; and Vendor Document Reviews. - Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred.
- Previous SRS Design Engineering experience and working knowledge of SRNS design processes and procedures are preferred.
