E2 Federal Services, LLC is seeking a professional for a position that requires technical expertise and leadership in complex problem-solving.

The role involves incorporating advanced technical practices and complex features into problem-solving and program planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Incorporating advanced technical practices and complex features into problem-solving and program planning.
• Providing leadership in determining solutions to complex problems.
• Developing solutions to complex technical problems.
• Keeping informed on technical needs within the company and technical trends in the external world.
• Leading task teams for developing solutions to more complex problems.
• Developing schedules, monitoring progress, monitoring expenditures of budget, and reviewing quality of work performed.
• Communicating results and objectives to customers, colleagues, managers, and oversight groups.
• Preparing reports for external publication.
• Contributing to advancing knowledge in the field of expertise.
• Solving complex problems in the field.
• Providing design engineering staff augmentation support to SRNS.
• Primary responsibilities include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents.
• Engineering services shall be provided using SRNS processes and procedures.

The position requires:

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Q Clearance is required.
• An advanced degree and experience, a Ph.D. degree and about 10 years' experience.
• MS degree and 12 years' experience.
• BS degree and approximately 15 years' experience. BS Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 15 years' design experience in the nuclear or process chemical industry. The candidate must demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience working at one or more DOE facilities.
• Candidate must demonstrate experience creating and revising documentation in one or more of the following areas:
  Process Flow;
  Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams;
  System Descriptions;
  Mechanical Equipment Lists;
  Mechanical Equipment Sizing;
  Pipe and Valve Specifications;
  Failure Analysis;
  Accident Analysis;
  Finite Element Analysis; ASME Code Design and Evaluation;
  Pipe Stress Analysis;
  Material Handling Design;
  Fire Protection Design; HVAC Design; and Vendor Document Reviews.
• Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred.
• Previous SRS Design Engineering experience and working knowledge of SRNS design processes and procedures are preferred.
