Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Design Engineer opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.
Work LocationAiken, SC
Duties- Prepare one-line diagrams, load calculations, equipment connection details, cable schedules, and electrical specifications.
- Support design changes to distribution systems, motor feeders, lighting, grounding, UPS-supported systems, and equipment power.
- Evaluate electrical impacts of new or modified process and facility equipment.
- Coordinate with I&C, mechanical, HVAC, and fire protection disciplines on integrated design changes.
- Support installation, testing, field verification, and as-built updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in electrical design for industrial facilities.
- Knowledge of power distribution and equipment interface design.
- Experience with facility upgrades, equipment power modifications, and electrical support for process facilities.
- Familiarity with backup power or UPS-supported system.
Job Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE security clearance.
