000068 Generally Located In Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).
Supports fire protection activities, maintenance, and field procurement engineering by handling planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES- Understands site policies and procedures to service, troubleshoot, conduct repairs and maintenance on various systems, apparatus, and equipment including wet, dry, deluge, fire pumps, and electrical components. Assists senior personnel to disassemble, inspect, and repair equipment that requires specialized knowledge or is exceptionally hazardous.
- Applies NFPA codes and standards to mitigate fire and safety risks.
- Conducts visual and manual inspections and system tests including control valve functions to verify alarm and sprinkler systems are operating properly.
- Tests, diagnoses moderately complex problems, troubleshoots, and services fire detectors, fire alarms, fire doors and panels, and other fire control containment equipment.
