We’re looking for a reliable Asset & Inventory Specialist to support our data center cabling and fiber operations. If you enjoy staying active, managing equipment, and helping teams get the tools they need to succeed, this role is for you!
🔧 What You’ll Do- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, cabling materials, fiber components, and tools
- Track equipment check‑in/out for installation teams
- Manage stock levels and reorder supplies before they run low
- Receive, inspect, label, and log incoming shipments
- Use inventory/ticketing systems to track data in real time
- Provide friendly, responsive customer service to internal techs and external data center clients
- Ensure data center compliance, documentation, and chain‑of‑custody accuracy
- Support daily operations by keeping the stockroom organized and efficient
- 1–4+ years of experience in inventory, asset management, warehouse, logistics, or data center operations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Able to work on‑site in a fast‑paced data center environment
- Comfortable using inventory or asset management systems (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs
- Comfortable walking large data‑center floors
- Able to work briefly in hot/cold aisle environments
- Experience in cabling, fiber, telecom, or data center hardware
- Familiarity with labeling standards, barcode systems, or asset tracking tools
- Understanding of cable types, connectors, racks, or basic hardware components
- Fast‑moving environment where every day is different

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aiken, SC.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
