Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (MS)

Location: 302 University Parkway, Aiken, SC 29801
Shift: 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic acute care team. The RN will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies.

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Perform comprehensive initial and ongoing patient assessments, including review of systems and documentation.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs.
• Deliver care in a competent, compassionate, and efficient manner.
• Interpret patient data to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
• Complete admission assessments within established time frames.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience (Required)
  • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience (Required)
• Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required)
  • BSN (Highly Preferred)
• Licensure:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (Required)
• Certifications (Required):
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute – NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training)
• Technical Skills:
  • Experience with Cerner EMR (Required
