Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical (Med Surg Telemetry)

Location: 302 University Pkwy, Aiken, SC 29801

Duration: 13 Weeks (High Possibility of Extension)

Shift: Days – 3 x 12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Administer medications and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders

• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes

• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment, including de-escalation when necessary

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience

• Med Surg Telemetry experience required

• Telemetry experience required

• Minimum 6 months of Travel Nurse experience required

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program

• Current active RN license in state/district of practice

• Cerner EMR experience required

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

• CPI – Crisis Prevention Institute (NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course)

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Highly Desired

• Open to travelers (must meet facility travel requirements if applicable)
