About the Position
:
Shift: 12hrs 10 HR Day Shift
Description:
must live 100 miles away Shift Time: 630-1700 Shift Days: 4x10 hour shifts, days will vary depending on need On Call Requirement: one week day call a week and one call weekend a month PALS, BLS & ACLS Required Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required experience in the OR with various specialties
- Required:
2 Years Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Required BSN - Highly desired experience in the OR with various specialties The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans.
Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. ? Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. ? Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available. ? Enable Skills-Based Hiring No
