Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Manager to lead patient-centered clinical operations within our healthcare network. This role oversees daily patient care activities, ensuring safe, high-quality services aligned with Piedmont's mission and regulatory standards. The Patient Care Manager supervises and develops clinical staff, optimizes workflows, and drives quality and safety initiatives. Collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, this leader supports care coordination, patient experience, and efficient resource use.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily patient care operations to ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centered services.
  • Supervise, coach, and schedule clinical staff, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  • Develop and implement care protocols and workflows to improve outcomes and patient experience.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance metrics; lead performance improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams on care coordination and discharge planning.
  • Manage unit budgets, resources, and staffing levels to support efficient care delivery.
  • Use EHR and data reports to track performance, identify trends, and guide decision-making.
  • Support staff education, onboarding, and ongoing training initiatives.
  • Engage patients and families in care planning and service feedback.
