  • Utilize precision measurement and inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, scales, and related tools.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, dimensions, and specifications to determine inspection requirements.
  • Verify completed components meet applicable dimensional and quality requirements prior to shipment.
  • Provide quality auditing and inspection support directly to shop floor manufacturing operations.
  • Identify and communicate dimensional discrepancies or quality concerns discovered during inspection.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain required quality records.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing and quality personnel to support production requirements and maintain established quality standards.
  • Follow all applicable safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related inspection, quality, machining, manufacturing, or similar technical experience.
  • Experience with and/or working knowledge of basic precision inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and scales.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and work from blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately evaluate dimensional requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively within a manufacturing and shop floor environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production and quality teams.
  • Ability and willingness to work either the 2nd Shift (4x10, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM) or Weekend Shift (3x12) schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience performing dimensional inspection of machined or welded components.
  • Hands-on experience operating or working with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
  • Experience in a precision machining, welding, fabrication, defense, aerospace, or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
