We're hiring for our front desk in Aiken — a part‑time role for someone who enjoys being around people, takes care of the details, and wants to grow into the gym industry from a real starting point. This isn't a sales job. Our club runs on RAMP (Resistance Applied Metabolic Prescription), a structured fitness program we prescribe to every member. Your job on any shift is to make the club feel welcoming, keep things running regardless of ownership presence, and introduce new and prospective members to what we actually do here.

No cold calls. No high‑pressure closes.

• Greet and Know the Members – Learn the members who come in on your shift, call them by name, and help newcomers feel like they belong.
• Answer the Phone – Pick up, be helpful, and take a real message when you cannot answer something yourself. Treat the phone as one of the most important tools in the club.
• Introduce Prospective Members to RAMP – Provide walk‑in tours without pressure, explain what RAMP is, how it works, and why it produces better results. Help walk‑ins through the process if they want to join, or thank them and leave the door open if they do not.
• Follow Up with Leads – Call and email people who have asked about the club through the website, referrals, or renewals. Offer answers, invitations, and make it easy for them to take the next step when ready.
• Keep the Club Sharp – Assist with maintenance and cleaning tasks that keep the club looking inviting. Each shift sets the standard for the next.
• Support Club Events – Help with marketing events, in‑club promotions, and member appreciation activities.

• Positive, friendly, and genuinely comfortable around new people.
• Reliable – when your shift starts, you start.
• Comfortable on the phone (or willing to get there).
• Organized enough to follow a process the same way every shift.
• Interested in fitness, health, or wellness in some form; no need to be a gym rat.
• Background in customer service, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or any people‑facing role is a plus. Previous gym experience is not required.

• Starting pay: $10.00 per hour. Pay increases as you demonstrate competence.
• Part‑time.

Most gym front‑desk roles are commission‑floor sales jobs. This one isn’t. We built the club around RAMP so the member experience doesn’t depend on cornering people into decisions they don’t want to make. Your goal is to be good to members, run a clean shift, and help prospective members understand what we do. The numbers take care of themselves when the job is run right.
