The City of Aiken is seeking a Utilities Worker to join the Engineering & Utilities Department. This position performs ongoing service maintenance activities for the upkeep of the City's waste water utility infrastructure system.
- Operates Jet Truck with sewer clean outs
- Repairs water and sewer lines
- Installs water and sewer lines
- Makes water and sewer taps
- Willing to work evenings and some weekends
- Ability to read and write, understand, and follow verbal instructions
- Must have a valid driver's license in good standing
- Exposure to outside elements
- Frequent stooping, kneeling, walking, and lifting
