Job Family Description
Project management personnel plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Program management personnel manage programs responsible for the execution of multiple projects or sub-projects. They secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. They manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.

Program managers coordinate resources, timelines, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that meet quality standards and drive overall success.

Responsibilities Include:

Job Duties /Responsibilities
1. Scheduling Shipments:
o Schedule Truckload (TL), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Custom Critical, High-Risk Classified Quantities (HRCQ), and international shipments.
o Coordinate with Custom's Brokers for clearances on inbound international shipments.
2. Rate/Route Analysis and Validation:
o Perform Rate/Route Analysis in ATLAS to determine the most cost-effective Transportation Service Provider (TSP).
o Validate all freight invoices in ATLAS prior to initiating payment processes.
o Verify HHGs (Household Goods) estimates for SRNS, BSRA, and SRMC entities, analyze rates for HHGs invoices for SRMC, and process associated invoices.
3. Invoice Processing and Reconciliation:
o Verify accuracy of charges and account details on freight invoices.
o Input and process all non-EDI freight invoices.
o Research to locate PO Numbers or Speed charts on invoices in ATLAS.
o Prepare and submit weekly Pay Reports to Accounts Payable (AP).
o Complete monthly GSA Pre-Payment and Post-Payment reports by the 15th of the month.
o Receive and review all rail invoices to ensure accuracy.
4. Coordination and Communication:
o Coordinate with Site Trucking for short-distance pickups and deliveries.
o Submit pull requests to CSX for empty railcars and conduct spot checks at rail facilities to mitigate demurrage charges.
5. Administrative and Account Management:
o Create and maintain user accounts for Fed Ex and UPS.
o Approve badge requests for drivers and visitors.
o Submit badge requests as necessary.
6. Auditing and Monitoring
Activities:
o Conduct periodic Monitoring Field Observations (MFOs) during loading/unloading operations at Receiving and other site areas.
o Review GSA reports before submission to Accounts Payable.
7. Oversight for Motor Carrier Program
o Review Hours of Service;
Motor Vehicle Reports;
Drug and Alcohol Testing
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master's degree in relevant field
* Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
