Canada Bridges is an Indigenous-led organization supporting Indigenous youth and young adults aged 16 to 30 across Treaty 7 territory. The Governance & Systems Coordinator and Executive Director function as a unit within the General Circle, requiring collaborative strategic support where reliable information and organized systems directly enable leadership effectiveness. We approach this work with deep cultural humility, recognizing our role as stewards for programs serving the Indigenous community in Treaty 7 territory.

Position Details and Work Environment

Annual salary range of $42,000–$55,000, depending on experience - Work Model :
Primarily in-person at the Calgary office. Hybrid or remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate based on experience, performance, and operational needs - Location :

Class 5 driver's license required for travel to events and partner/program sites as needed. - Selection Process :

This is a deadline-driven executive and operational support role within a small team environment. The position requires managing competing priorities, tracking approvals, maintaining organized files, and communicating early when deliverables are coordinator will be expected to work independently, take ownership of projects, and consistently deliver professional work.
Key Responsibilities
You will coordinate General Circle meetings, track decisions and action items, maintain governance documentation, develop practical tools and templates, support Youth Consultancy systems development, and manage data reporting that informs executive decision-making. Success in this role means delivering clean records, accurate tracking, organized files, and reliable follow-through in a process-driven environment where duty, loyalty, and safety are core values.
General Circle Coordination and Governance Support
Coordinate logistics, documentation, and follow-up for General Circle meetings. Prepare agendas, collect inputs, track decisions, record outputs, and organize action items. Maintain accurate records of circle decisions, commitments, motions, proposals, and follow-up tasks. Support the Operations & Finance Manager and Executive Director by keeping governance information organized, accessible, and current.
Action Tracking, Documentation, and File Organization
Track action items, owners, deadlines, and follow-up requirements across General Circle and operational work. Maintain organized digital files, records, templates, forms, and process documents. Support clean version control for governance documents, internal tools, drafts, and approved materials. Identify missing documentation and help close gaps in records, workflows, and shared systems.
