Position: Event Administrator - Contemporary Career Consultants )

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparation of materials needed for tournaments, including but not limited to the prize lists, start lists, and officials documentation.
  • Receive and process tournament entries including data entry, payment, verification of memberships and other documentation
  • Communicating with relevant parties regarding entries, rules, and logistics
  • Aid in the tournament check-in, stall assignments, and daily needs of competitors
  • Post-tournament reporting to the governing bodies, including results submission
  • Processing final billing for competitors
  • Archive tournament records
  • Front desk reception (answering our tournament phone lines and directing calls, filing, administrative work)
  • Ensuring the companies standard is maintained in respect to all aspects of the tournament operations. This includes but is not limited to customer service, supplies, equipment, building conditions, overall cleanliness.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
  • As a sporting venue it is understood that the organization operates with a full employee complement on many evenings and weekends.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience with similar administrative role is preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams
  • Reliable transportation to and from work and a valid Class5 driver’s license
  • Strong team approach and willingness to assist others when necessary
  • Ability to problem solve and exhibit conflict resolution skills
